“It looked very friendly, I must say,” Trump said of his viral moment with Obama on the national day of mourning. The future president admitted he was unaware of “how friendly it looked.” “I saw it on your wonderful network a little while ago, and I said, ‘Boy, they look like two people who like each other.’ And we probably do,” he added.

Without saying exactly what he and Obama talked about, Trump admitted to having opposing views on the former president. “We have a little different philosophies, right? I don’t know, we just got along,” the future commander-in-chief added, “but I got along with everybody on this. You know, before we move on. We met backstage, and I thought it was a lovely service, but we all got along really well.”
