The study, which surveyed more than 12,000 expats in 174 regions around the world, emphasized Vietnam’s competitive advantage in housing affordability, as well as essential items such as food, transportation and entertainment. Meanwhile, India grabbed the 6th position in the list of top 10 foreign destinations. Known for its rich cultural tapestry and diverse job opportunities, India attracts expatriates seeking a blend of traditional charm and modern amenities.

Southeast Asia emerged prominently in the rankings, with Thailand, Indonesia and the Philippines joining Vietnam in the top 10. These nations are celebrated for their cultural diversity, vibrant communities, and favorable living conditions, offering expats a full lifestyle experience.

International’s study evaluated destinations based on key factors such as quality of life, digital connectivity, housing availability, career prospects, salary levels, and job security.
