What does Anthony Edwards Send the Video mean?
While it may seem commonplace on the surface, the story behind the basketball player’s known request is somehow funny. When questioned, he harshly echoed the phrase, urging him to “send da video.”
Let’s dive into the viral “send video” story. Around December last year, an Instagram influencer named @dreampaige shared an alleged text exchange with Anthony Edwards on her story.
She informed Edwards that she was expecting his child and, after presenting a photo of a facial composition that predicted their child’s appearance, Edwards advised her to use abortion pills.
Edwards pressured her with multiple messages saying, “Send the video,” indicating a video of her taking abortion pills. As their connection weakened, he constantly demanded “de video”.
Screenshots of @dreampaig’s story quickly circulated on X/Twitter and went viral. The majority focused on the “Send da video” section, using phrases to tag images as memes.
Once their conversation went viral, Edwards publicly apologized to X, using a screenshot from the Notes app, saying, “I expressed myself in haste, which does not reflect my personality. ” She further declared, “Every woman deserves to be respected and empowered to make individual choices about her body and what works for her.”
