Rochester, Minn. (KTTC)-Many people are waking up to sunny and cold conditions. Temperatures are getting milder this morning, with lows in the 20s. However, the sunshine many of us have been experiencing will soon be replaced by cloudy conditions as a cold front approaches from the north. There is a slight chance of flurries for some of us this morning and early this afternoon. Also, on Saturday, westerly winds will increase to 25 mph this afternoon with gusts in the mid to upper 30s.

Southern Minnesota and northeastern Iowa will experience highs in the upper 20s and lower 30s. After a cold front moves through this afternoon, temperatures will drop tonight into tomorrow morning. When you wake up tomorrow morning, temperatures will be in the single digits, while wind chills are expected to drop below zero.

Tomorrow, the warm trend will begin with highs in the upper 20s and mid to low 30s for most. Once again, sunny skies are expected with breezy winds.

On Monday and Tuesday, we will likely see temperatures in the upper 30s and possibly in the 40s in many areas. This week we will have above normal temperatures in the 30s.
